Dr. Alison Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald is a talented dentist in Parker with nearly 15 years of experience. Providing patients with greater confidence and a more youthful appearance, she strives to help each person feel like a true member of the Sweet Smiles Dentistry & Orthodontics family.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she participated in pre-med training, gaining valuable experience in anesthesiology. Although encouraged by the head anesthesiologist to pursue neurosurgery, she decided dentistry was the better option because she could continue learning while offering detailed work.

After earning her dental degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry, she opened a startup practice in Castle Rock but soon discovered there was much more to learn. Seeking the best world-renowned teaching centers, she attended courses with Partners in Synergy, the Kois Center, Progressive Orthodontics, and the American Orthodontic Society.

During one of her trainings at the Kois Center, she discovered a passion for orthodontic training and airway/breathing treatment. This led her to complete courses on the treatment of sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing in children and adults.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her spending time with her children. Although her oldest, Trevor, is in college, her youngest, Gavin, is in high school and aspires for a baseball career. She also enjoys skiing, kayaking, hiking, exercising, and gardening. You might also find her painting, baking, cooking, and fixing things around her house.

Dr. Jay Lopez

Dr. Lopez is a fourth-generation Tucson native who remains dedicated to helping patients achieve their smile goals, all in a comfortable environment.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he completed his dental doctorate at the University of Colorado Health Science Center School of Dentistry. As a practicing dentist since 1997, he remains an advocate for continuing education and pursues postdoctoral training whenever possible. His focus primarily remains on dental implants and oral surgery, and he regularly mentors and instructs fellow dentists.

Dr. Lopez is not only a graduate of the Kois Center but also a mentor and clinical instructor. He is also one of only a few dentists who have completed training in Digital Smile Design, a unique imaging system that provides patients with a pre-treatment view of their smile.

Many patients choose Dr. Lopez because he uses the latest technologies and develops tailored treatment plans for each patient. He also provides advanced treatment options, including bone grafting, immediate dentures, and dental implant placement.

When he’s not busy in the office, Dr. Lopez can be found hiking, skiing, enjoying photography, and spending time in his hometown of Tucson.
